ASBESTOS 2024 Conference

The Faculty of Asbestos Management of Australia and New Zealand (FAMANZ) and the Asbestos and Silica Safety and Eradication Agency (ASSEA) are pleased to invite you to attend the ASBESTOS 2024 conference, to be held on 4-6 March 2024 at the Rydges Hotel Melbourne.

ASBESTOS 2024 – Sustaining Innovation – will explore new ways to manage, remove and dispose of ageing asbestos containing materials as well as innovations in diagnosing and treating asbestos-related illnesses. It will also consider how the industry will identify and manage other elongated mineral particles being more widely found in the natural environment.

This significant event will include a series of concurrent streams, technical sessions, international speakers, panel discussions and social functions.

Additionally, a large exhibition hall will showcase a host of industry suppliers, proving unique opportunities for networking throughout the conference, including during the welcome drinks commencing on Sunday evening.

ASBESTOS 2024 is for anyone in the asbestos management industry and will benefit those who are involved in asbestos management, remediation, risk management and who are from the front line through to developing regulatory policy.
